How to fit a bike helmet
The coaches check helmet fit before commencing a session but you can help them out by making sure your child's helmet fits correctly before the session starts. If you need any help please ask one of the coaches.

1. The helmet should fit snuggly and can be fine tuned by using thinner or thicker removable foam pads, or by expanding or contracting the adjuster at the back of the helmet.
2. A bicycle helmet should sit low on the forhead, just above the eyebrow with about two fingers width between the helmet and eyebrow.
3. The two adjustable side plastic pieces on the straps should fit just under the ears.
4. The buckle should be just under the chin, with about one finger's width of space between the strap and the chin. The helmet must always be buckled.
